Boxer Training: The Important of Training
Having a boxer who is well trained can benefit both you and your dog in several ways. Keep your boxer well trained can prevent several problems. Knowing that your trained boxer will obey your command will bring ease to your mind.
Watching out for your boxers’ safety is the key to being a good owner. A boxer without proper training can get in to a lot of trouble. For example, you are bringing in groceries from your car while your boxer greets you by the door wagging his tail. Having full hands, you are unable to close and proceed to the kitchen to put them down so you can go back and close the door. A well trained boxer would not leave the house unless it was given permission to go. Now a boxer without proper training and strong curiosity might run out and scare your neighbors, which would result in problems with them.
Boxers can be intimidating creatures because of their size. Seeing one walking down the street might intimidate them. Naturally boxers are friendly and curious and will want to meet the person pulling you towards them and frighten them. However a well trained boxer would know that you’re the leader and you decide if the boxer gets to meet the stranger walking down the street.
A well trained boxer knows who his owner is and knows who he can trust. A boxer without proper training might not be as aware of who really is in charge. Keep your boxer well trained and safe.
