Sometimes boxer puppies are born white instead of the usual fawn and brindle. White boxers are considered white only if their coat is more than one third white. Some dog breeders try to pass on white boxers as rare and very valuable dogs when in fact about 20 percent of the boxer puppies are born white. White boxer puppies are not albino either. Puppies are born white same way they are born fawn or brindle.
White boxer dogs used to be considered rare and people would try to breed them to get more white boxer puppies. Today, however, breeding white boxer puppies is prohibited by every national boxer club in the world. This is because white boxer dogs are disqualified from conformation showing by the breed standards.
So if you are looking for a pet and not a show dog, then don’t worry about getting a white boxer puppy. They are just like the fawn and brindle ones, just with more white fur on their coats.

You have to remind yourself that just like every child has to touch and feel everything, boxers have to bite and chew on everything. They have no clue of what’s edible, chewable or neither of those. So they have to test it with their teeth first.
You might be asking yourself, How many times does my puppy have to bit me to figure out I’m not food. A boxer puppy biting you is just his way of playing with you. Boxers fierce, and at the same time adorable, growling might look like he is serious, but in reality it’s just a game. So don’t worry, your cute little monster is not out to get you, but is trying to just be friends.
These cute and fun games are fun, but at times your little boxer might bite you too hard. That is because while the boxer puppies are young, they do not know their full strength. That is why playing is so important. It helps boxer puppies to develop the sense of their own strength. To help your boxer puppy learn faster, you have to let it know when the puppy is biting too hard. Normally, boxer puppies would learn it trough playing with their littermates. Every time a boxer puppy would bite too hard, the recipient of the bite would yelp, cry out. That would show the little boxer bitter that such behavior hurts and is not very appreciated.
Does this mean you now have to yelp every time your boxer puppy bites you? Well not exactly, but the concept is the same. To properly train your boxer puppy to stop biting you, you will have to let it know that you do not appreciate that kind of playing. You can start training your boxer puppy by playing with him and when he bites you, yell out “Ouch.” Don’t scream it, or you will terrify your boxer puppy, but do it loud enough to get his attention. Wait a little bit and start playing with him again. If he bites you again do the same thing but a little louder and instead of going back to your game, stop what you are doing and leave. This will tell your boxer puppy that if he keeps biting you then you won’t play with him.
This training technique will require persistence, just as any other. So stick to it and your little boxer puppy will be trained in no time.
